Funkins proudly donates to those in need, such as:
lunch bags, masks, funds and time to dozens of schools and charitable organizations focussed on making back to school a little easier for those in need. Here are a few organizations we've given to: The Caines Brothers Annual Back-to-School Extravaganza in Bermuda, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Bermuda, The Nourish Cowichan Society, Duncan, BC, The Royal Tyrell Museum, Drumheller, AB, Family Resource Center, Davenport, Iowa, The Elks Lodge Back-to-School kits, Severna Park, MD
In addition to supporting children as they go back to school, Funkins works closely with community partners in providing support in areas of need in their local area, such as:
Dryden’s Winter Gear Giveaway, in partnership with Ella-Lynn’s boutique, Dryden, ON, The St. Baldrick’s Foundation for childhood cancer research, A. Lorne Cassidy Elementary School welcome-baskets for new immigrant families, Stittsville, ON
Supporting The Earth
Washable and Re-useable
Save Trees and Reduce Waste
We are committed to producing high quality products that are washable and reusable for years, vs. disposables. Over 250,000 Funkins cloth napkins have replaced paper towels and disposable placemats in the past 12 years. If 50% of the U.S. population used 1 paper napkin per meal 3 times a day, 164 billion napkins would be used over a 1-year period.
Every little bit counts when we work to make a difference and have a positive impact.
